Private Guest House Parking
Super convenient during summer — The Longfellow Guest House comes with a private driveway that accommodates parking for two cars.
Cape May's popularity and small town-ness have conspired to create a significant parking problem during busy peak vacation times, and in particular, the summer months.
Many vacationers in south Jersey will make day trips to town, adding even more volume to the parking problem. And when you're on vacation, you just want to settle in and enjoy yourself. With our private driveway, you can be assured that you and your guests have at least 2 parking spots.
No Parking Meters on Historic Hughes St.
Hughes is a non-metered street. We tell our guests that when they arrive to look for open spots on Hughes since all the vacationers who were there the past week are departing. If you find a spot, you can park extra cars on Hughes Street — close to the house — and leave them for the week while the cars in our driveway can be utilized for big shopping runs, day trips (to the zoo, Cape May Point, or other beaches) or travel. It's a perfect setup.
